Pick up from Cairo hotel, transfer to Cairo museum to tour the museum and see the golden treasures of king Tut, the mummies, and the masterpieces from ancient Egypt. Transfer to Saladin citadel to see the mosque of Muhammad Ali (AKA the Alabaster mosque), See the fortified wall and towers of the citadel, and see the panoramic view of old Cairo. Transfer you back to Cairo hotel and drop you off.
After breakfast at your hotel, pick up and transfer you by our air-conditioned tourist vehicle to Cairo museum. The museum accommodates around 120000 pieces from all over the ancient Egyptian history. Tour the exhibit of the boy king Tut including his golden mask and treasures. Visit the Alabaster mosque of Muhammad Ali which was built in 1820 - 1838 by Muhammad Ali ruler. The mosque is Ottoman design and very similar to the blue mosque of Sultan Ahmet in Istanbul
After lunch, continue our tours to the citadel of Saladin which is located on top of Mukattam mountain. The citadel was built by Saladin in 1167 A.D to defend Cairo against the attacks of the crusaders and the remains of the Fatimids, however, the citadel was never attacked as Saladin built many citadels and fortresses on the borders of Egypt. Outside the mosque, from the terrace, see the panoramic view of old Cairo and the old mosques.
Transfer you back to your hotel and drop you off.
