Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Cairo to Aswan and see the Abu Simbel Temple.
We will drive you to Cairo airport early in the morning for your trip to Aswan, where you will meet your Egyptologist tour guide and be transferred to see the magnificent two temples of Abu Simbel.
Temples of Abu Simbel
The two temples of Abu Simbel are regarded marvels of ancient Egypt because of their distinctive design. The Temples are rock-cut temples that were created during King Ramses II’s reign around 1200 B.C. King Ramses II is honored in one temple, while his loving wife Queen Nefertari is honored in the other. Both temples are adorned with magnificent sculptures and artwork. This is a must-see destination with hand-carved pillars, wall paintings, sculptures, statues, and much more.
After your day tour in Abu Simbel, you will be taken to Aswan in a private air-conditioned vehicle, where you will have lunch at an oriental restaurant before checking into your hotel and spending the night.
Day Two: Aswan to Luxor and Fly Back to Cairo
After breakfast at the hotel, accompany your tour guide for a journey to the Aswan train station to board a first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, move by private vehicle to explore the stunning temples and tombs of Luxor tourist sites, beginning with:
The Kings’ Valley
The tombs of Egypt’s monarchs from the 18th to the 20th dynasties may be found here, including those of the great pharaoh Ramses II and the young pharaoh Tutankhamen. The tombs were well-stocked with everything a monarch may want in the afterlife. The majority of the interior décor of the tombs has been beautifully conserved.
Temple of Hatshepsut
It’s one of the most stunning and well-preserved Ancient Egyptian temples. The temple was constructed on three levels, with two large ramps connecting the floors in the center.
Memnon’s Colossi
The sole remnants of a full funerary temple are two huge stone sculptures of King Amenhotep III. The sculptures are fashioned from quartzite sandstone blocks found in Cairo and transported 700 kilometers to Luxor.
Lunch will be provided in an oriental restaurant with a view of the Nile River, after which you will join your private guide to enjoy:
Karnak Temple
The Karnak temple is Egypt’s most spectacular structure. It is the world’s most massive temple complex. It is the result of several generations of ancient builders and Pharaohs working together. The Temple of Karnak is really three separate temples spread over 247 acres.
Transfer to Luxor airport for a flight to Cairo and then to your accommodation at the conclusion of the excursion. Note: You are welcome to express your ideas on whether or not any trips should be included or removed from your tour schedule in order to satisfy your requirements and meet your demands.
