Tour Itinerary

First day: Welcome to our Wonderful Country

You will be met, welcomed, and helped by our “Cecilia Egypt Tours” official representative at Cairo Airport after your airline arrives in Egypt. Your private tour guide will transport you to a five-star hotel in a luxurious air-conditioned car after the formalities have been completed and your baggage has been identified to ensure a smooth check-in. Relax at the hotel until you’re ready to take your first steps in Egypt at night. While you’re there, enjoy the best special dinner meal overlooking the Nile River in a very ideal atmosphere, have a thorough discussion about Egypt with your knowledgeable tour guide, and take in some local performances like belly dancing and folklore concerts before going back to your hotel for the night.

Day 2: Visit the Egyptian Pyramids and take a flight to Hurghada

After breakfast, get ready for a full day of non-stop activities with one of our knowledgeable tour guides to explore the greatest historical sites in Cairo, such as:

Giza Pyramids Complex

The Giza Pyramids are the first picture that comes to mind when Egypt is spoken, which is why they have come to represent Egypt. This renowned historical location was built under the rule of the 4th dynasty, and millions of tourists visiting Egypt continue to be awed by this magnificent landmark.

The Great Pyramid

Three renowned, enormous pyramids, known as the Giza Plateau, are well-known. The highest building in ancient times still has a particular place in history thanks to the Great Pyramid of King Cheops. It will be even more remarkable to realize that the Great Pyramid, which served as Pharaoh Cheops’s tomb and a secure storage facility for his priceless goods, is made up of more than 2,300,000 stone blocks.

The Great Sphinx

The Great Sphinx is the other well-known structure on the Giza Plateau. The Giza Plateau’s biggest representation is believed to be a monument to Pharaoh Chephren. Since the monument is formed like a human head lion as a symbol of power and wisdom, the terrified Sphinx’s unusual construction is what gave it its notoriety.

The Valley Temple

It is regarded as one of the Giza Pyramids Complex’s best-preserved colossal structures. It was first built as a funerary temple for Pharaoh Cheops and his family, and later it developed into one of the most well-known places for purification and mummification in ancient Egypt to prepare the king’s mummy for the afterlife.

after a fantastic meal and a little rest in an upscale Egyptian restaurant, go to:

Step Pyramid of Saqqara

A trip to Giza would be incomplete without taking in the first Egyptian pyramid ever constructed. The Saqqara Step Pyramid, which was built during the 3rd dynasty, is King Djoser’s most impressive accomplishment. This 203-foot-tall stepping-stone structure has six wonderful tiers.

The Ancient City of Memphis

When Ptah was revered and Egypt was ruled by the Old Kingdom, Memphis City functioned as the nation’s capital. Because the king’s palace was constructed of bleached stones, this imperial city was also known as the “White Wall.” It was formerly believed that “Memphis” was a Greek term that translated to “Men-Nefer” in the ancient Egyptian language, which stood for steady and lovely.

After being transported to the airport, you will travel to Hurghada and then check into a 5-star hotel for the night.

The third day in Hurghada is free.

Enjoy a free day at the beach or by yourself exploring the city.

Day Four: Hurghada Scuba Diving

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before being driven on a Scuba Diving expedition with a highly qualified instructor, where you will see the lovely coral reefs and discover the underwater life before being driven back to your hotel.

Day 5: Hurghada Safari Tour

Have breakfast at the hotel before setting out on a quad safari to see the magnificent desert life and have a barbecue meal before returning to your hotel.

Sixth day: a visit to Luxor’s East Bank Attractions

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. A private A/C car will then transport you to Luxor to begin your Nile boat excursion. You will travel to Luxor with your knowledgeable tour guide to see the attractions of the East Bank, which include:

Temple of Karnak

The largest structure ever built by humans, Karnak Temple, will be the first stop in Luxor. There are three primary structures on this very distinctive site, which is spread over 247 acres. Its distinctiveness stems not just from its enormous size but also from the very unusual wall decorations and drawings that it displays. The biggest religious site, Karnak was primarily built for Amun, Khonsu, and Mut worship.

Check into a 5-star luxury Nile cruise, have your lunch there, and then spend some time at leisure. At night, you’ll be taken to see the following:

Temple of Luxor at Night

Luxor Temple, a symbol of the past civilization and a genuinely amazing landmark in the center of Luxor City, is a part of the World’s Largest Outdoor Museum. Unlike the other temples in the city, Luxor Temple was built to revive royalty rather than to worship a deity or a historical person.

Go back to the cruise ship to spend the night.

Day 7: Visit Luxor West Bank Attractions

Visit the must-see sights in the West Bank with your tour guide, which include:

Temple of Hatshepsut

The only female pharaoh in Egyptian history, Queen Hatshepsut is regarded as one of the most successful pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Her funerary temple, which honors all of her outstanding deeds on its walls, was one of many successes during her calm and successful reign that saw a broad range of other accomplishments.

The Kings’ Valley

The tombs of the rulers of dynasties 17, 18, and 19 in ancient Egypt are located there. One of the most amazing monuments in the Valley of the Kings has 63 royal tombs, the majority of which were built for pharaohs and another aristocracy.

Memnon’s Colossi

The guards of Amenhotep III’s Mortuary Temple are the fabled Colossi of Memnon. The temple, which is made up of two magnificent twin sculptures and is located at Luxor’s entrance, is well-known for its regal aspect.

After a delicious meal, set sail from the cruise ship.

Day 8: Travel to Edfu and Kom Ombo

After breakfast on board, you’ll go off on a day excursion with your neighborhood tour guide in a horse-drawn carriage to see:

Temple in Edfu

The most fascinating of all the Nile-side temples, the Temple of Edfu is located in the center of the village of Edfu. Edfu Temple, like most of the temples in the region, is a modern building that was constructed during the Greco-Roman era. Onboard lunch will be provided before continuing the voyage to visit:

Temple of Kom Ombo

Nearly 30 kilometers separate it from Aswan. One of the most spectacular temples built during the Ptolemaic Period is the Temple of Kom Ombo, which was primarily built for the worship of Sobek and Horus.

Get back on your Nile cruise and set sail towards Aswan.

Day 9: Discover Aswan’s landmarks

After breakfast, your tour guide will lead you to the most famous historical sights in the Nubian city of Aswan:

The High Dam

The Aswan High Dam is merely one of President Gamal Abdul Nasser’s most notable projects and is a fascinating technical achievement. The project, which began in 1960 and was around 12,500 feet broad, was finished in 1971 and was in charge of producing over half of the nation’s power.

The Unfinished Obelisk

The Unfinished Obelisk, which was carved from red granite, was the largest obelisk ever built in Ancient Egypt. This massive monument was 140 feet long and had never been finished due to a fault in the granite that was discovered after construction was abandoned.

Temple of Philae

One of the most beautiful temples is now located on Agilika Island and is called Philae. During the Ptolemaic Period, the temple grew to become the primary place of devotion for the goddess Isis.

After lunch and before bed, you will be returned to your ship.

Day 10: Travel by car to the Abu Simbel Temples and then fly to Cairo

After receiving your breakfast boxes and checking out of the hotel, your knowledgeable tour guide will drive you in a contemporary A/C car to the following locations:

Abu Simbel Temples

Without seeing the Abu Simbel Temple, no Aswan visit is complete. The major example of the splendor of ancient Egyptian architecture, Abu Simbel is one of the most remarkable structures in Egyptian history. The temple was impressively cut into the mountains during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses II. It is made up of two twin temples, one of which was built as a tribute to the monarch and the other as a tribute to his inspirational queen Nefertari.

After returning to Aswan, you will have lunch at a restaurant before taking a direct flight to Cairo, where you will be taken to a 5-star hotel for check-in and an overnight stay.

Day Eleven: View the Highlights of Old Cairo

After breakfast, meet your own Egyptologist to learn about the top Cairo attractions that you really must see, such as:

The Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Museum is the site of a unique collection of 5000-year-old artifacts that displays more than 250,000 authentic artifacts, including the magnificent exhibition of the great king Tutankhamun together with hundreds of other jewels and significant items.

Enjoy your lunch at a reputable neighborhood restaurant in the center of Cairo before traveling to:

Mosque of Amr Ibn Al Aas

The Hanging Church

It was established in the ninth century and is one of the most well-known Christian tourist destinations. However, it is thought that the Hanging Church was the earliest Coptic site in all of Egypt when it was a church in the third century AD.

Synagogue of Ben Ezra

The Ben Ezra Synagogue, the oldest Jewish institution in Egypt, was built in the ninth century and is tucked away in one of Old Cairo’s back lanes. After the majority of the Jewish population left Egypt in the 1950s, the location became a popular tourist destination.

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) is a trip through time and space where visitors may learn about Egypt’s fascinating history and culture while admiring some of the most unique structures and artifacts ever produced.

Market in Khan El Khalili

You must visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar before leaving Cairo, the oldest bazaar in the Middle East, where you may shop for clothing, trinkets, perfumes, and other items.

In Cairo, you’ll spend the night at your five-star hotel.

Day 12: Explore the Islamic Attractions in Cairo

With your tour guide, let’s begin your day by touring some of Cairo’s most stunning Islamic landmarks, including:

Citadel of Salah El Din

A magnificent structure called the Cairo Citadel was built under Salah EL Din Ayyubid’s rule to defend the city against Crusader attacks. The building of the fortress had begun in 1176 AD and was finished in 1182 AD.

Mosque of Mohamed Ali

To construct his alabaster mosque, one of Cairo’s most iconic Islamic monuments, between 1830 and 1848, Muhammed Ali opted to destroy the Mamluks’ structures within the citadel.

Enjoy a satisfying meal at a reputable neighborhood eatery before going to:

Mosque of Sultan Hassan

The 14th-century Sultan Hassan Mosque, located in El Darb El Ahmar in the center of the city, is unquestionably the best specimen of Mamluk architecture. The building’s enormous size just adds to its amazingness. However, the majority of its tourists are awed by its magnificent architecture.

Mosque of Al Rifai

The Sultan Hassan Mosque lies across the street from Al Rifai Mosque, one of the finest specimens of Islamic architecture, which was constructed in two stages. Construction began in 1819 and was finished in 1912.

Pompey’s Pillar

Around 300 AD, the Roman triumphal column known as Pompey’s Pillar was built in memory of Augustus Diocletian. This monument was around 100 feet tall and was built of red granite.
